Officer Fluck joined the department in 2010. He has been a police officer in Lehigh County since 1999 after graduating from the Allentown Police Academy in 1998.

He holds certifications as a firearms instructor, SFST practitioner and active school shooter instructor.

In 2009 he received a merit award from the Red Cross and Alburtis Police Department for preserving the life of a resident in need of immediate care.
